Considered by some as the Frankenstein of the succulents, Coral Cactus is actually a combination of two different succulents that joined together formed a beautiful coral-looking plant. It has the base of a Euphorbia neriifolia and the crest of a Euphorbia lactea.

Also called candelabra plant, the crested candelabra plant, crested euphorbia or crested elkhorn. It originally comes from Africa.

Lighting: Bright. Thrives in direct sunlight for 3-4 hours a day.

Watering: As most cacti and succulents, "when in doubt, do not water". But be careful as it does not tolerate drought for too long as a cactus would. Only water when the soil is dry.

Best spot: Indoors, protected from the cold. Best in a bright location with direct sunlight. Turn it regularly so it does not grow lopsided.

Pet Friendly? No.

Child Friendly? No. The latex, or sap, is toxic. It can cause dermatitis or other skin, nausea and vomiting if ingested.
